1953 - Christiane Martel from France is crowned Miss Universe 1953 by Julia Adams because the outgoing titleholder was on her honeymoon.
1972 - Kerry Anne Wells from Australia is crowned Miss Universe 1972 by Marisol Malaret, Miss Universe 1970, because Georgina Rizk, Miss Universe 1971, was not allowed to travel to the host city for security reasons.
1975 - Anne Marie Pohtamo from Finland is crowned Miss Universe 1975 by Kerry Anne Wells, Miss Universe 1972, because Amparo Munoz, Miss Universe 1974, did not travel to the host venue.
2002 - Justine Pasek from Panama is crowned Miss Universe 2002 by Donald Trump because Oxana Federova, Miss Universe 2002, was dethroned.
